Talia Braude, Treasurer
I am a mother and architect with my own small practice. Originally from South Africa, I have lived in Bed-Stuy for the past 10 years, but being a BCCS family has made us feel truly part of the community. My son is thriving in the enriching dual language program and I look forward to continuing to contribute and be involved as a member of the PTA.
Aiyanna DeFlorimonte, Secretary
My family and I have been welcomed by the BCCS family since 2014. I am a mom of three children. The eldest of my children is a proud graduate of the class of 2018. The other two are 1st and 3rd graders who are proud to be a part of this school and are both enrolled in the dual language program.

Having worked in the DOE for the last 10 years, this is my first time being part of a school from a parent's perspective and I wasn't sure what to expect. It was clear from the moment we first entered the building that everyone at BCCS cares about each student as if they were their own children. My daughter and I are fortunate to be part of such a wonderful and caring community. It's also comforting to know that that she will grow in an environment that challenges her in areas beyond academics such as in music and dance while caring about her social emotional growth. We are very lucky to have found this amazing school!

BCCS what can I say. This school has been my family for the last four years. A home away from home for my kids and myself. As a member of the PTA I strive to continue the great work built by our founding Principal Ms. Fabayo McIntosh-Gordon helping to ensure that my children and every child is college ready.

I am a mother of one kindergarten student at BCCS. I am a holistic wellness coach, yoga teacher, and a natural hair consultant. I devote my time promoting wellness throughout the city, meeting with different clients to help them with their health goals. Additionally, I co-lead the Wellness Committee at BCCS. Our goal is to promote healthier living in order to improve the health of students by involving the parents in making healthier choices that are simple and cost-effective.
