In Kindergarten, students explore communities, relationships, geography, and families. For each unit, students become experts that can speak to many aspects of each larger theme. When kindergarten learns about families, they study family members’ roles and responsibilities, the different structures of families, customs and cultures that families engage in, special days that families celebrate, and much more.

Some activities students participate in are conducting family interviews by inviting family members into the classroom, using Venn Diagrams to compare families, understanding who family members are by creating family trees, creating recipe books, writing family history books, and more! Come and become part of our family and share all there is to know about yours!
