First Grade

First grade is all about communities! The students have the opportunity to research, collect data, investigate, make connections and even create materials that will deepen their knowledge.

Community walks, visitors from the community, and trips within our community help guide us through our exciting unit. We create research notebooks, work on home projects and in school projects to ensure that students receive and document valuable data.
